In less than a month I launch Lekker International, a new company, that is the result of more than 20 years in the Network Marketing industry.

It has been a journey of struggles and victories.  Along the way there were many critics, many disbelievers, many who doubted and even close friends and family who kept saying, “Michael, when are you going to get a real job?”

On this journey I overcame a stutter, a speech impediment, that I could have easily used as an excuse for not succeeding in a business that involved so much verbal communication.  However I chose to change my identity from seeing myself as a “stutterer” to someone who “stutters occasionally” and along the way ended up being someone who has presented to tens of thousands of people around the world in more than 25 countries.

I had to overcome financial struggles losing everything more than once in order to experience success.  It’s in these times you realize what really matters in life and who are your most loyal friends.

Lekker International is the realization of a dream, not giving up, not listening to well meaning critics, and being patient.  Yes, patient. Few people would have waited 20 years to fulfill a dream but if the dream is big enough….and important enough, the wait is worth it.

In fact, I am glad I was patient because if I was honest with myself I was not ready until now.  They say their is NO substitute for experience and I had to experience a lot of things, GOOD and BAD, in order to gain the maturity, the wisdom, and the skill set to be able to launch a company that is destined to be great.

So again I encourage you NEVER, EVER give up on your dreams, no matter how far away they may appear right now.  It is the lows in our life that make us appreciate the highs. It is the challenges that make us stronger. Tehy say where strong winds blow, strong timbers grow!

Find your dream, write it down, keep expanding it, believe in the dream, and you can live your dream!
